What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser. Browser storage (localStorage) works the same way but is never sent to a server. We treat both the same in this policy.
Always on: your cookie choice
operix_consent (browser storage, no expiry until you clear it) remembers whether you pressed Accept or No thanks on the cookie banner, so we do not ask you on every page. It holds only the word "granted" or "denied" and never leaves your device.
Only after you accept: Google Analytics
If you press Accept, Google Analytics 4 sets _ga and _ga_<id> (up to 2 years). They count visits and show us which pages, services and guides are useful, the type of device and the approximate city or country. They do not give us your name, phone number or email.
If you press No thanks, or do not choose, Google Analytics is not loaded at all and these cookies are not set.
What we do not use
No advertising or retargeting cookies, no Facebook or TikTok pixels, and no cookies that sell or share your browsing with other companies. If we add any of these later, we will ask for your consent first and list them here.
Links to other sites
WhatsApp, the portfolio websites we built for our clients and any other external site you open from here set their own cookies under their own policies. We do not control them.
Changing your choice
Use "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to bring the banner back and choose again. You can also delete cookies and site data for operixsystems.com in your browser settings, which clears your choice as well.
