Custom software, ERP and websites for businesses in the UK
Operix Systems is a Karachi software company that builds bespoke software, ERP and CRM systems, apps and websites for UK businesses. Every project is run remotely by our team in Karachi: calls in the UK morning, designs you sign off before development starts, something new to test each week, and a written scope that puts the code and every account in your company's name.
Built for UK
What's set up for you
GBP books and 20% VAT
Prices, invoices and reports in pounds. VAT is held on every line, with the standard rate at 20% and the other codes set up exactly as your accountant gives them to us.
Making Tax Digital and your accounts package
Making Tax Digital means VAT records are kept digitally and the return goes in through compatible software. Xero, QuickBooks or Sage stays the package that files; what we build posts its invoices and payments into it.
UK GDPR and where data sits
Personal data falls under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act. We agree in writing what the system stores, who can see it and which hosting region holds it, on a cloud account that belongs to you.
Calls in your morning
Karachi runs ahead of the UK, so your morning and early afternoon land in our afternoon and evening. Demos, reviews and urgent questions are booked in those hours.
Scope, code and accounts in your name
A written scope with milestones comes before any work. The source code, domain, hosting and app store accounts are registered to your company, with us added as users you can remove.
Cards, Apple Pay and Direct Debit
Stores and customer apps take cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through your own payment provider, and Direct Debit for subscriptions or repeat invoices where that provider offers it.
How we work
Remote, with the same team
We have no office in the UK and nobody on the ground there, so nothing in the project depends on a site visit. The work runs online with our Karachi team: a video call to learn how the business operates, clickable screens to approve, a fresh release every week that you try against your own records, and training sessions by video once the system is live. Karachi is four hours ahead of the UK in summer and five in winter, which puts nine o'clock in London in the early afternoon here. Day-to-day questions go to one WhatsApp number or to email, and are answered in the hours the two working days share.
01
Discovery
We sit with the people who will use the system and write down how work really moves today.
02
Design
You see every screen before we build it, and change it while change is cheap.
03
Build
Weekly releases you can click through, on your own data, not a demo.
04
Train
Your team learns on the live system, branch by branch, in Urdu or English.
05
Support
One WhatsApp number for questions, fixes and the next feature.

Questions
Working with Operix in UK
Do you have an office in the UK?
No. Our only office is in Karachi, Pakistan, and UK projects run entirely online. We have not published a project for a UK client yet; the international work in our portfolio includes an online store for a Belgian fashion label and a website for an ecommerce management and sourcing company.
Does the software handle VAT and Making Tax Digital?
It records VAT on sales and purchases in pounds, with the standard rate at 20%, and keeps those records digitally. The VAT return itself is filed from your accounting package, such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage, which receives the figures from the system we build. Which rates and schemes apply to your business is something to confirm with your accountant.
How is personal data protected when your team is outside the UK?
UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act apply to your customers' and staff's data wherever your supplier sits. Before work starts, the contract sets out what data the system holds, where it is hosted and who on our side may reach it, and we build and test on made-up data wherever the job allows. Ask your lawyer or data protection adviser to review those terms.
How is a project priced and paid for?
The price follows what you need built: which modules, how many users, what it must connect to. That is why we publish no price list. A discovery call comes first, then a written scope with a figure against each milestone, and you pay as each milestone is accepted.
Also serving Pakistan, Dubai & UAE, Saudi Arabia, USA, Europe, Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad & Rawalpindi.

We'll show you what it looks like as one system. We don't publish prices: every quote starts with a conversation.
