UI/UX design services in Europe

When your users do not all read the same language, the design has to allow for that from the first sketch. Operix designs software, apps and online stores for European businesses with the longest language in place, checks accessibility in the prototype, and tests with your team over video before development starts. The design work is done remotely from Karachi.

Set up for Europe

  • Room for long words

A button that fits in English can overflow in German or Dutch. Every screen is checked in the longest language you support, not the shortest.

  • Accessible from the prototype

Contrast, text size, keyboard use and screen-reader labels are checked while the design is still a prototype and a fix is cheap.

  • Formats that change by country

Dates, decimal commas, currencies and address fields differ across Europe, so they are defined in the design system and not left to chance.

UI/UX design

What the design work covers

The same UI/UX design we build everywhere, with the local setup above for Europe.

Workflow mapping

We follow real tasks, like taking an order or closing a month, and remove the steps nobody needs.

Clickable prototypes

You click through the screens on your own phone and laptop before a line of code is written.

Dashboards that answer questions

Each dashboard is built around the questions a manager asks every morning, not every chart the data allows.

Design systems

Colours, type, buttons and forms defined once, so every new screen looks like it belongs.

Testing with your staff

Short sessions with the people who will use it, and changes before development, when they are cheap.

Questions

UI/UX design in Europe: what people ask

Can you test designs with users in our country?

Yes, over video, in sessions booked in your working day. Where the users speak a language we do not, someone from your team leads the session and we watch and take notes.

Is accessibility a legal requirement for our product?

It can be, depending on your country, sector and size. We design to recognised accessibility guidelines either way; which duties fall on your business is a question for a lawyer.

Do we need UI/UX design if we are buying an ERP from you?

It is included in every system we build. As a separate service it suits companies with their own developers.
